Watch it : Polisse ♥♥♥/♥♥♥

If there is one french movie you have to see, it is Polisse by Maïwenn.

The movie won a prize at Cannes and really deserves it. During two hours, you will go through big laughters and you will also cry. You'll go through everything this squad that is protecting the minors is going through. The ugly stories they have to hear, the relationships they have together, their lives.

Maïwenn allows us to laugh even when the story is sinister, and this is actually how people that have a rough job cope with the ugly. Firemen, nurses, doctors, cops, etc. This is how it works.

Some reviewers said it is just one more movie for Maïwenn to satisfy her egocentric needs. I won't agree with that, because first of all, it is not her character that I paid the more attention to, and then nobody would say that to Matthieu Kassowitz or to Mélanie Laurent when they play the first part of the movie they directed.

The actors were great and I have to say that I was even impressed by Joeystarr's performance.

A movie to see, really. However, do not forget it is very poignant and that not all audience can cope with what is shown.
